- Spencer is building a 'cocktail table' 4-player video game running Python with one distance sensor per player's hand.
- The MEAP installation: can maybe use (part of the) display case on college walk for some kind of installation
- could we put a box on the bottom with jacks for sound input and output
here is the detailed step by step procedure of assembling the instruments of each participants custom papers, Dave compilation report.
The Meap College Walk Interactive Thingy
Ideas: custom papers
- Play in, meap with short delay, play back modified sound
- No play out, just follow the audio in with a robotic foot tapper
- some video camera that responds to looking at the screen of your iPod video
- just a microphone behind the glass
- use the video - of just real life - as image-track to meaped audio
- put the mac mini in there, caseless to make it less desirable - will it be warm enough
- built-in wireless - it will be on the net
- make it update the music to make it different every day
- just interface it to morecowbell - or our own live version
